TRITON mattresses for hydrotechnical construction
The Triton® marine mattress system is designed for the harsh conditions associated with coastal protection, erosion control and the construction of hydraulic structures such as breakwaters. During the construction of transport and hydraulic structures, companies sometimes face situations where the use of traditional technologies and materials is not effective enough or too costly. Triton® mattresses are densely filled with stones before installation, do not include metal elements and therefore do not corrode. When scour occurs, the mattresses, due to their flexibility, follow the contour of the scour pit slope, protect it and prevent further scour from moving towards the structure to be protected.
