Filter mats.

Filter mats are geocomposites consisting of two mechanically reinforced nonwoven layers of continuous yarns. One layer acts as a filter, and the second layer protects the filter from mechanical damage. The optimum pore size of the filter ensures effective filtration with an extremely low risk of clogging. Overview of the advantages of the filter mat: high filtration efficiency even under severe hydraulic conditions, durability and high resistance to mechanical stress, high efficiency over time

Applications: coastal protection; embankment walls; breakwaters; dams; bridge piers.

Filter fabrics.

Filter fabrics are woven geosynthetic materials made of high-density polyethylene monofilaments or tapes. They are UV-stabilized and meet almost all the most stringent requirements for filters. Polyethylene filter cloths can also include one-piece loops for attachment.

Overview of the advantages of the fabrics:

– individual selection of hole sizes and permeability
– high resistance to mechanical damage
– customization for project needs
– high tensile strength
– high resistance to UV radiation and resistance to chemicals
– stable filtering capacity

Applications: coastal protection; embankment walls; canals; drainage trenches; bridge piers.
