Anti-erosion iGGmat mats for erosion control.
100% straw mat – S-100
iGGmat straw is used on areas at risk of erosion with a slope of up to 10° (1:5.7) for temporary erosion control. The service life of iGGmat straw is up to 12 months.
It depends on the relief of the area, soil, water and climatic conditions, as well as on the risk of erosion of the site. iGGmat straw products are 100% biodegradable.
Mat made of straw 70% and coconut fiber 30% – SK-50
The iGGmat straw and fiber layer is used on areas at risk of erosion with a slope of up to 20° (1:2.7) for temporary erosion control. The service life of iGGmat is up to 24 months. It depends on the terrain, soil, water and climatic conditions.
iGGmat straw products are 100% biodegradable.
100% coconut fiber mat – K-100
iGGmat Coir is used on areas at risk of erosion with slopes up to 40° (1:1.2) for temporary erosion control. The service life of iGGmat is up to 36 months.
It depends on the relief of the area, soil, water and climatic conditions, as well as on the risk of erosion of the site. iGGmat coconut products are 100% biodegradable.
Mulch mat – PLA 150
iGGmat mulch fleece consists of 100% lactic acid fibers (PLA). This is a brown machined needle felt fleece with one side calendering.
The raw material (PLA) is a 100% renewable resource that is 100% biodegradable.
Mat made of 100% coconut fibers – C350
C350 100% coir matrix complements initial mulching and erosion control with up to 36 months of performance. Tested in the laboratory and in field studies, C350 non-evaporated reduces soil loss to the level of
less than 0.5 in. (12.7 mm) at shear stresses up to 3.2 psi (153 Pa). The ultra-high-strength permanent 3-D structure increases vegetation shear resistance to 12 lb/ft2 (576 Pa), offering permanent erosion protection that exceeds 30 (0.76 m) of rock. C350 provides an economical, environmentally friendly “green” alternative to complex erosion control methods.
Mat made of polypropylene fiber 100% – P550
The 100% polypropylene fiber matrix P550 increases the initial mulching and erosion control characteristics of the anti-erosion mat and also helps to encourage vegetation growth. In laboratory and field studies, unvegetated P550 reduces soil loss to less than 0.5 (12.7 mm) at shear stresses up to 4.0 psi (191 Pa). P550 provides shear resistance to vegetation up to 14 lb/ft2 (672 Pa).
TenCate Geolon Robulon PP
TenCate Geolon Robulon PP is a high-strength geocomposite for erosion protection. The material is made of durable polypropylene with UV protection and a trim structure of sewn loops. The combination of soil reinforcement and containment makes Robulon a slope erosion control mat for riparian protection. TenCate Geolon Robulon is also used underwater with a long life warranty.
AquaRockBags®
AquaRockBags® are used in both fresh and salt water environments. The flexibility of the material ensures work in natural conditions unlike other coatings and provides ecological advantages with the possibility of vegetation restoration in a short period of time.
AquaRockBags® work best under water and can fit on very weak foundations. AquaRockBags are proven to be the most reliable nets in fresh and salt water and have the highest UV resistance and abrasion resistance of any net product. AquaRockBags are flexible and durable elements that are a suitable alternative to concrete, gabions, block stones and rough stone cladding.
The smaller AquaRockBag stone reduces the flow rate by absorbing the energy of the water through the large gaps between the stones. These spaces also provide improved habitat for invertebrates, among the gravel and silt, and allow vegetation to develop naturally over time.
